In the Mostly Dolls series Fashion Doll History and stories I (Maria Blomkvist) dive into the history of fashion dolls that maybe isn´t well known to everyone. Since my background is a Sindy doll collector I often portrait the dolls in a perspective with a connection to Sindy. Even Barbie makes an appereance.
The series is a combination of storytelling, inspiration & fashion doll history. The dolls in our memories and maybe meeting new friends.Meet Sindy´s friends from around the world. Can a doll have a family tree? I think so. Here we will explore the connections and some rivalry. Is there a connection between Sindy and Barbie? What´s about Tammy, Susi and Bibi-Bo? Why do these dolls resemble Sindy? As a doll collector I have dived in to some doll stories and more will come!
