These provide a useful starting point — but should always be confirmed with physical details if you want to know the exact doll.

(1963- 1969) Pedigree era

Marking: Text "2 GEN 1077" molded directly above the number 033055X.

Production Era: Introduced with the 1978 product line.

Sindy® & 033055X neck marking (1981–1983)

Marking: Raised rectangular cartouche featuring the script "Sindy®" logo, stacked above serial number 033055X.

Material Texture: Distinctly characterized by an extremely rigid, hard vinyl composition.

Production Era: Early 1980s standard branding and anti-counterfeit phase.

New Face / Smirky Sindy marking (1986)

Marking: Raised rectangular cartouche containing the text "Sindy" positioned high on the neck, often close to or partly hidden by the hairline.

Serial Numbers: None present on this variant (the previous 033055X code was entirely removed).

Production Era: The final release wave from Pedigree before the brand rights transitioned to Hasbro.
